Story
One of the most famous tracks in the Netherlands was scheduled to close in 1988. With this in mind the Zuid-Limburgse Stoomtrein Maatschappij was raised on march 24 1988. From the start in 1988 till spring 1994 all actiivities were concentrated on fund raising and permits. Volunteers were working on track and other infrastructure. With additional funding from the goverment it was possible to start exploitation in 1995.
